Brunswick House
The Brunswick House was designed during my time at architecture+, focusing on a clean, modern aesthetic that feels at home in its natural setting. The house is defined by its dramatic cantilevered upper level, which creates a large, sheltered outdoor deck and a unique vantage point over the surrounding site; showcasing the mountains and Albany skyline.
At approximately 3,300 square feet, the home features a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath layout designed for modern living. The exterior uses a straightforward palette of both dark and white vertical siding, and warm wood accents to break up the massing and give the building an approachable scale. By lifting a portion of the structure off the ground, the design preserves the site's natural flow while providing a striking, elevated living space that feels deeply connected to the landscape.
