The Design Concept

The Ryu (meaning "flow") is a study in vertical motion. The fluted ridges are engineered to catch ambient light, creating a dynamic gradient of shadows across the surface. The "bell" silhouette provides a grounded feel, making it ideal for everything from succulents to taller indoor foliage.

Technical Specifications

• File Format: High-resolution STL.

• Geometry: Manifold and error-free, optimized specifically for FDM and resin printing.

• Scalability: Designed at a default size (e.g., 5-inch diameter), but maintains perfect detail when scaled from 50% to 200%.

• Drainage: Includes a built-in drainage hole for plant health.

Recommended Print Settings

To achieve the high-end look seen in our portfolio, we suggest the following:

• Filament: PLA Matte (e.g., Bambu Matte Charcoal or Desert Tan) for the best shadow definition.

• Layer Height: 0.16mm – 0.20mm for smooth fluting transitions.

• Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls for structural integrity.

• Infill: 10–15% Gyroid (provides great internal support for the weighted base).

• Supports: None required; the geometry is optimized for 45°+ overhangs.
